A delegation of eight engineers from the Institution of Engineerof Kenya visited TIA Wastewater Technology in Germany. The focus of the visit was on the innovative TIA wastewater treatment plants, which are suitable as decentralised wastewater solutions for wastewater treatment in Kenya.
The delegation was particularly interested in the TIA COMPACTmini wastewater treatment plants, which were specially developed for small municipal wastewater applications. These decentralised wastewater treatment plants offer an efficient and reliable solution for wastewater treatment and have already been successfully implemented in several countries. Their easy installation and trouble-free operation make them an ideal choice for rural areas and housing estates in Kenya, where larger infrastructure projects are often not feasible.
The need for decentralised wastewater treatment plants is growing in Kenya as more and more high-standard housing estates are being built. These new residential complexes require modern wastewater treatment solutions in order to meet the increasing requirements. This is where we see great potential for our TIA COMPACTmini wastewater treatment plants,to ensure sustainable and efficient wastewater disposal in Kenya.
We would like to thank the Kenyan delegation for their visit and the stimulating exchange on decentralised wastewater technologies. The dialogue gave us valuable insights into the specific challenges of wastewater treatment in Kenya and opened up new perspectives for future international cooperation.
