A future-oriented project in the heart of the desert: TIA Abwassertechnik has been commissioned to plan an industrial wastewater treatment plant for the megacity of NEOM in Saudi Arabia.

As part of this prestigious project, TIA is responsible for the complete technical design of the plant - including all components and interface definitions. The aim is to develop a sustainable, efficient wastewater concept that fulfils NEOM's high ecological and technological requirements.

NEOM - also known as ‘The Line’ - stands for a radically new vision of urban living worldwide. The futuristic city will extend over several kilometres, but will only be a few hundred metres wide. The focus is on digitalisation, sustainability and innovation - in the middle of the Saudi Arabian desert.

With NEOM, Saudi Arabia is pursuing the goal of establishing new economic pillars alongside the oil industry. The name ‘NEOM’ stands for ‘New Future’ - a motto that fits perfectly with our work at TIA.

We are proud to contribute our expertise to the realisation of this forward-looking project.
